Our CBD Infused Coffee starts off as a highland Arabica coffee, grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This particular coffee is noted for its bright aroma and taste, with undertones of nuts, berries and now, hemp.
Infused with CBD and a full spectrum of cannabinoids.
Coffee beans naturally produce their own oil, making them an ideal target to infuse with full spectrum, CO2-extracted hemp oil.
We use full spectrum extract to ensure we include as much of the plant as possible. This is also referred to widely as ‘whole plant medicine’ and helps to ensure that a wider-variety of cannabinoids and terpenoids are available for absorption by the body.
How to brew.
For the most delicious coffee, we recommend purchasing the beans whole and then grinding them yourself. If you grind your coffee up just before you brew it, you get a stronger, general flavour and the subtle undertones are easier to pick out. However, our coffee can also be ground to order as we appreciate this isn’t always possible.
Our preferred method for brewing CBD infused coffee is a cafetiere / French press. Add 10-15g of coffee per cup to your cafetiere. Measure it exactly if you want to keep track of your CBD consumption, remembering that 10g of coffee contains ≥ 10mg of CBD. Then, measure and add just enough near boiling water, stir and wait 3-4 minutes. This is our preferred method for CBD infused coffee because of the longer extraction time. Finally, push the strainer/plunger down gently, and pour yourself a cup of coffee infused with CBD-rich full-spectrum, plant extract.
